Joseph Simmons understands the power of the Justice System to have a meaningful impact on the lives of others and on society when there are men and women of integrity leading the way to make the law work for everyone. In pursuit of these ideals, Joseph Simmons opened The Simmons Law Firm, PC in 2010.

Education

Joseph graduated with honors from Christiansburg High School. After high school, Joseph attended Roanoke College and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. It was at Roanoke College that Joseph learned the essential element of success that drives his dedication and care to his clients to this day. Success is the result of producing the finest quality work. The finest quality work is the product of time, effort, skill, and dedication. It does not matter whether it is writing a book, playing football, or the outcome of a trial, success is always a result of the motivation to produce the finest product. To these ends The Simmons Law Firm guarantees its best efforts in serving its client.

Roanoke College was also the place where Joseph decided to go to Law School. This decision was the product of a number of factors, but foremost among them was his desire to help those in need. Joseph started helping by actively volunteering with different charity groups and nonprofit organizations, which he still continues to this day. At Roanoke College Joseph volunteered building houses with Habitat for Humanity and participating in the "Potato Drop" which provides food to different homeless shelters and food-banks through Southwest Virginia. By participating in these organizations, Joseph learned the importance of serving the community that serves you.

After Roanoke College, Joseph Graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law, in the heart of Baltimore City. Although he missed the Blue Ridge skyline, the fierce competition of Baltimore City and law school prepared Joey to fight for his clients with confidence and conviction. At Law School Joseph participated in Moot Court and with the Constitution Society. Outside of law school, Joseph continued to give back to his community by volunteering in a number of organizations including the famous Walters Art Museum and with Sigma Delta Kappa, a Legal Community Service Organization serving Baltimore city residents. After graduation, Joseph moved back home to the New River Valley to open his doors at The Simmons Law Firm, PC.
